ORDINANCE NO. 4033-88
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE LAND "USE ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE
LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF BELCHER ROAD,
APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET SOUTH OF DREW STREET,
CONSISTING OF LOT 2, CORAL COVE SUBDIVISION, WITHIN
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FROM COMMERCIAL/TOURIST
FACILITIES TO RESIDENTIAL/OFFICE; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Regulation Act (the Act) relating to amendments to
an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof have been complied with in
connection with the amendment set forth In this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable,
proper and appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by changing the land use
category for the hereinafter described property as follows:
Property Land Use Categor
Lot 2, Coral Cove Subdivision, ' From: Commercial/Tourist Facilities
according to the map or plat thereof,
as recorded in Plat Book 92, Page 31, To: Residential/Office
of the public records of Pinellas
County, Florida. (L.U.P. 88-8)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the Act.
Section 3. This ordinance shall.take effect immediately upon adoption.
