AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE
OF EL TRINIDAD DRIVE AT ITS NORTHERN TERMINUS,
CONSISTING OF THE WEST 100 FEET OF LOTS 17 AND 18,
VIRGINIA GROVE TERRACE SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS
s COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY
HEREIN, UPON ANNEXATION INTO TIME CITY OF
'a CLEARWATER, AS SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-8);
)<{ PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1988, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater held
a public hearing for the determination and establishment of a zoning classification for
the property described herein; and
i= WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas for establishing the zoning for
g' such real property was tentatively approved by the City Commission after Its
evaluation of ali evidence presented at the public hearing; and
` WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Regulation Act relating to amendments to land
development regulations have been complied with in connection with the amendment
set forth in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the amendment set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable,
proper and appropriate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
zoned as indicated upon annexation Into the City of Clearwater, and the zoning atlas
of the City Is amended accordingly:
Property Zoning District
The West 100 feet of Lots 17 and 18, RS-8 - Single Family Residential
Virginia Grove Terrace Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof,
as recorded in Plat Book 37, Page 29,
of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida, (A-88-13)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the
City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
