AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIflA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF KAPOK CIRCLE, APPROXIMATELY
750 FEET NORTH OF KAPOK KOVE DRIVE, CONSISTING OF
LOT •13, KAPOK FOREST SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY,
AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a
petition from Paula Harvey, Planning Director, requesting the City to annex the real
property described herein, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, at a regular meeting held on February 4, 1988,
voted to accept the petition and authorized the preparation of an ordinance to annex

WHEREAS, all applicable requirements of Florida law, including the Local
Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act and the - ? '
law relating to annexation, have been complied with In connection with this ordinance; a
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, the following described
property is hereby annexed into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and the boundary lines of the City are redefined to include the following:
Lot 13, Kapok Forest Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof, as
recorded In Plat Book 47, Page 47, of the Public Records of Pinellas ;
County, Florida. '
E: Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the measures
contained In this ordinance are consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and

Section 3. The City Commission hereby accepts the dedication of all easements,
streets, parks, plazas, places, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which
have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
