KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That in consideration
of $17,000, paid by the City of Clearwater on a JUdgment re-
covered by Plaintiff vs. Defendant in the total amount of
$20,000 in the above-styled cause, the State Road Department of
Florida does hereby remise, release, and forever discharge the
City of Clearwater, Florida, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, of and from all and all manner of actions,
and causes of action, suits, debts, dues, accounts, bonds,
covenants, contracts, agreements, judgments, claims, and demands
whatsoever in law or equity, which against the said City of
Clearwater, Florida, said Defendant ever had, now has, or which
its successors or assigns, or any of them, hereafter can, shall,
or may have for or by reason of any cause, matter or thing
whatsoever arising out of or by virtue of that certain action
at law brought by Cone Brothers ContEacting Company, a Florida
corporation, as Plaintiff, against the State Road Department
