WHEREAS, on September 3, 1987, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater held a public hearing on certain proposed changes to the zoning atlas of
the City; and
a? WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes to the zoning atlas were approved by
the City Commission after Its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public
hearing; and ,asp r6 ' _:
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations
and .?,, ?t•?;l amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
' reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and x.
f ;? WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
s-t the LPA, and the zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
