AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF 'I'IIi. CITY BY ZONING
PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF SOULE ROAD, SOUTH OF UNION
STREET, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE
` PARTICULARLY HEREIN, UPON ANNEXA'T'ION INTO THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, AS RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
(RPD) FOR PARCEL A AND PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC (P/SP) FOR
PARCEL B; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ?.
WHEREAS, on August 8, 14870 the City Commission of the City of Clearwater

held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications
' for certain property annexed into the Cityl and

WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for establishing the "
zoning for such newly annexed real property were approved by the City Commission
after Its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
- Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as {
the LPA, and the zoning change which Is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATHR, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, and the zoning atlas . "
of the City Is amended accordingly:

adoption.

Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the
City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 4. All development of the property described herein shall be subject to
and consistent with the final site plan for the property, described as the "Regency
Oaks Retirement Center," prepared by Appenzeller, Boyd do Zarra, Inc,, and approved
by the City on August B, 1987, consisting of 1 sheet, u copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit B, as the same may be amended from time to time with the approval
of the City Commission as provided by Section 137.010 or other applicable provisions
of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect as of the effective data of Ordinance
4484-87, which annexes the property into the City of Clearwater.
