AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE- EAST SIDE OF
McMULLEN-BOOTH ROAD APPROXIMATELY 850 FEET SOUTH OF
DREW STREET, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, FROM RESIDENTIAL PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT (RPD 5.8) TO PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC; PROVIDING
3 AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on August 20, 1987, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater
held a public hearing on certain proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes to the zoning atlas were approved by
the City Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public
hearing; and

WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and

amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
the .LPA, and the zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSON
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property In Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
rezoned as indicated, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended accordingly:

Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance Is

to the Act, and directs that a copy hereof be forwarded to the LPA immediately upon
adoption.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the
City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
