L.a14,M ' . ?. ?,R:???? ,?? i°t° ?i•+'..w??S.t.edW? t??•, `.i?' sii. ?d.._.f 11 r• r, O ORDINANCES NO. 4478-87 AN ORDINANCE OF T11H CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CER'T'AIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO FORTUNE SAVINGS BANK LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF BELCHER ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET SOUTH OF GULF-TO-BAY BOULEVARD, WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL/TOURIST FACILITIES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with plans adopted pursuant to the Act; and WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as the LPA, and this ordinance has been referred to and considered by the PCPC; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by changing the land use category for the hereinafter described property as follows: Property See Exhibit A attached hereto. (L.U,P. 87-14) Land Use Category From: Medium Density Residential I To: Commercial/Tourist Facilities Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant to the Act, and directs that a copy hereof be forwarded to the LPA immediately upon adoption. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
