ORDINANCE NO. 4447-87
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION
FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE
OF, BELCHER ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 325 FEET NORTH OF
RANGE ROAD, WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FROM LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with plans adopted
pursuant to the Act; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
the LPA, and this ordinance has been referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by changing the land use
category for the hereinafter described property as follows:
