BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 135.086, Code of Ordinances, is amended to read: Section 135.086 Conditional uses. Within Limited Office Districts, the following uses may be allowed as conditional uses: (1) Veterinary offices. (2) Level I group care. (3) Level 11 group care. (4) Level III group care. (5) Congregate care. (6) Nursing homes. (7) Child day care. (8) Commercial or trade schools. (9) Noncommercial parking. Section 2. Paragraph (19) of subsection (c) of Section 136.025, Code of Ordinances, is amended to read: Section 136.025. Conditional use standards. (c) Supplementary standards by category of use. The following standards shall ?whleh apply to the identified category of use In addition to use3 shaR supplement the general standards identified above, and no conditional use shall be approved nt:Ehe4zed unless determined to meet all of the standards applicable thereto. (19) Noncommercial parking lots may be permitted within the Multiple-Family Residential "Eight," "Twelve," "Sixteen;, "Twenty;" "Twenty-four" and "Twenty-eight" Districts and the Limited Office District upon determination that: a. The parking lot shall be designed, surfaced and landscaped in accord with all applicable requirements contained in this development code. b. It 1 co The use shall comply with all of the general standards contained in preceding paragraph (b). h__a11 d. Noncommercial parking lots which adjoin residentially zoned property 9 .a be provided with en opaque fence or wall along all ro ert lines adjoining the residential) zoned ro ert and shall be used for the parking of motor vehicles other than recreational vehicles, semi-trailer trucks or cabs, commercial vehicles, or vehicles designed to transport wastes or hazardous or noxious materials. Such lots shall not be used for the parking of trailers, boats or boat trailers. Any lighting of said parking lot shall not exceed the height of the opaque fence or wall required along all property lines. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
