AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF 'CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SPRINGDALE STREET,
APPROXIMATELY 275 FEET EAST OF NORTH BETTY
LANE, CONSISTING OF LOT 14, BLOCK C, PINE RIDGE
SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a
sworn petition from Charlie Brinson requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of
real property described herein, owned by him, into the corporate limits of the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request for
annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 19, 1987, voted to accept the petition
and authorized the preparation of an ordinance to annex the property; and
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1987, the City Commission held a public hearing upon the
proposed annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted
pursuant to the Act; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated the
Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and this Ordinance has been referred to and
considered by the PCPC in accordance with its guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, the following described
property is hereby annexed into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and the boundary lines of the City are redefined to include the following:
Lot 14, Block C, Pine Ridge Subdivision, according to the map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 28, page 98 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that the measures
contained in this ordinance are consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and
Individual elements thereof adopted pursuant to the Act, and directs that a copy
hereof be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate action.

Section 3. The City Commission hereby accepts the dedication of all easements,
streets, parks, plazas, plaeos,'rlghts-of-way and other dedications to the public which
have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 4. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director are
directed to include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and
records of the City.
Section S. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. The
City Clerk shall file one certified copy with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas
County, Florida, and shall file another certified copy with the Florida Department of
State within 30 days of adoption.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SPRINGDALE
STREET, APPROXIMATELY 275 FEET EAST OF NORTH BETTY
LANE, CONSISTING OF LOT 141 BLOCK C, PINE RIDGE
SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESrRIBED
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
"EIGHT" DISTRICT (RS-8); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1987, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater held
a public hearing for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications for
certain property annexed into the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for establishing the
zoning for such newly annexed real property were approved by the City Commission
after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
the LPA, and the zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The fallowing described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
zoned as Indicated upon annexation Into the City of Clearwater, and the zoning atlas
of the City is amended accordingly:

Lot 14, Block C. Pine Ridge RS-8 - Single Family Residential "Eight"
Subdivision, according to the map or
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
