AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATE-R, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE LAND USE BLEMENT OF Tim COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION
FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF PALMETTO STREET AND
" PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
' Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with plans adopted
pursuant to the Act; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
the LPA, and this ordinance has been referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is amended by changing the land use
category for the hereinafter described property as follows:
Property Land Use Category
Lots 1 and 2, Pennsylvania From; Low Density Residential
Subdivision, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded To: Public/Semi-Public
in Plat Book 21, page 80 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida. (L.U.P.87-7)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance Is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the Act, and directs that a copy hereof be forwarded to the LPA immediately upon
_ adoption.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
