AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF WEST MANOR
AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 350 FEET SOUTH OF MANOR
BOULEVARD NORTI-I, CONSISTING OF LOTS 41 AND 42,
CLEARWATER MANOR SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, UPON
ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "EIGHT" DISTRICT (RS-8); PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on March 19, 1987, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater
held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications
for certain property annexed into the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning 'atlas for establishing the
zoning for such newly annexed real property were approved by the City Commission
after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been, designated as
the LPA, and the zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, and the zoning atlas
of the City is amended accordingly:
Property Zoning District
Lots 41 and 42, Clearwater Manor, RS-8 -- Single Family Residential "Eight"
as recorded in Plat Book 41, page 66
of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida, together with that
portion of West Manor Avenue right-of-
way abutting hots 41, 42 and
the North 15 feet of Lot 25 of
said Subdivision. (A-87.6)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant
r to the Act, and directs that a copy hereof be forwarded to the LPA Immediately upon.
