WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received aY,~
sworn petition from, James C. Ussery and Carolyn Ussery requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real property described herein, owned by them, Into the corporate

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request for
annexation, at a regular meeting held on February 5, 1987, voted to accept the

WHEREAS, on March 19, 1987, the City Commission held a public hearing upon
the proposed annexation; and
< V WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be'`

reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with plans adopted t
pursuant to the Act; and
x WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated the
Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and this ordinance has been referred to and
considered by the PCPC In accordance with its guidelines;;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY

property is hereby annexed into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,

directed to Include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and
records of the City.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon Its adoption. The
City Clerk shall file one certified copy with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas
County, Florida, and shall file another certified copy with the Florida Department of
State within 30 days of adoption.
