ORDINANCE NO. 4350-87
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING
PROPER'T'Y LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE
INTERSECTION OF BAYVIEW AVENUE AND KENTUCKY AVENUE,
CONSISTING OF LOTS I. AND 2, BLOCK 41 BAYVIEW CITY
SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUN'T'Y, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
"EIGHT" DISTRICT (RS-8); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, on February 19, 1987, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of zoning
classifications for certain property annexed into the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for establishing the
zoning for such newly annexed real property were approved by the City Commission
after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land
Development Regulation Act (the Act) requires that all development regulations and
amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be
reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for consistency with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated as
the LPA, and the zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: '
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, and the zoning atlas
of the City is amended accordingly:
Property Zoning District
Lots 1 and 2, Block 4, Bayview RS-8 - Single Family Residential "Eighty"
City Subdivision, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 9, page 25 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with abutting right-of-way
of Kentucky Avenue. (A-87-1)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that .this ordinance is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant
to the Act, and directs that a copy hereof be forwarded to the LPA immediately upon
adoption.

Section 3. The Planning Director Is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the
City In accordance with the foregoing amendment. .
Section 9. This ordlnancc shall.take of fee; hnmedlately upon adoption.
