AN ORDINANCE 'OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF CITY WATER FOR FIRE
SPRINKLER SYSTEMS AND FIRE HYDRANTS ON PRIVATE
PROPERTY; AMENDING SECTIONS 50.05 and 52.14, CODE OF
ORDINANCES, TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS AND TO
IMPOSE A MONTHLY STANDBY CHARGE; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Paragraph (1) of Subsection (e) of Section 50,05, Code of Ordinances,
is amended by adding Subparagraph c and by renumbering and amending subsequent
subparagraphs, as follows:
Sec. 50.05. Deposit, fees, service charges and rate schedules sehedtAe.
(e) Rates:
(1) Water rates. Water rates for all water furnished by the City Utilities
Department under the different sehedules shall be as follows:
C. Standby charges for fire protection systems. For fire hydrants and fire
sprinkler systems on private property, connected to the __City___ water
system, the customer shall pay a monthly standby charge as set forth In the
following table:
