AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPER'T'Y LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAS'T' CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF NORTHEAST COACHMAN ROAD AND BELCHER ROAD, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, FROM PUBLIC/ SEMI-PUBLIC DISTRICT TO LIMITED OFFICE DISTRICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on June 19, 1986, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City; and WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes to the zoning atlas were approved by the city Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the public hearing; and WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act (LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with the plan; and WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County, and the zoning change which is the subject of this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by the PCPC; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned as hereinafter indicated, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended accordingly: Zoned: From: P/SP - Public/Semi-Public District To: OL -- Limited Office District See Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA, and directs that a copy of this ordinance be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate action.
