AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CI'T'Y BY ZONING
A PARCEL LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF GRAND AVENUE AND HERCULES AVENUE., PI14ELLAS
COUN'T'Y, FLORIDA, UPON ANNEXA'T'ION INTO THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, AS LIMITED INDUSTRIAL (IL) DISTRICT;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DA'T'E.
WHEREAS, on dune 19, 1986, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for
the determination and establishment of zoning classifications for
certain property annexed into the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for
establishing zoning for such newly annexed real property were
approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element
thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for
conformance with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
zoning change, which is the subject of this ordinance, has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby zoned as hereinafter indicated, and the zoning
atlas of the City is amended accordingly:
. Zoned-II, - Limited Industrial District
Begin NE corner of the SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section
12, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, and run thence
S 0°16'59" W, along the north-south mid-section line
of said Section a distance of 350.0 feet to a point;
thence run N 89°20'5" W, a distance of 50.0 feet for
P.O.A.; thence run N 89°20'5" W, a distance of 450.0
feet to a point; thence run S 0°1.659" W, a distance
of 415.0 feet to a point; thence run S 89°20'5" E,
a distance of 450.0 feet to a point; thence run
N 0°16'59" E, a distance of 415.0 feet to P.O,B.,
all being in Tract A of the Replat of Blocks 1
through 19, inclusive, of Marymont Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 39, page 31, of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida; together with the
abutting right-of-way of Grand Avenue.

Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that the
measures contained in this ordinance are consistent with the City's
Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant to the
LGCPA, and directs that a copy of this ordinance be forwarded
to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate action.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the
zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing
amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
adoption. '
