ORDINANCE NO. 4201-86
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING A FIFTEEN FOOT DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENT RUNNING SOUTH OFF DREW STREET, WEST
OF U.S. HIGHWAY 19, IN SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP.
29'SOUTII, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by A.B.S. Properties, owner of
certain real {property in Section 18, Township 29 South, Range 16
East, in the City of Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clear-
water, Florida, vacate a certain drainage and utility easement; and'
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commissin finds that said drainage and utility easement
is not necessary nor required for municipal use and it is deemed
to be to the best interest and advantage of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, 'T'HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
-- COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following:
From the NE corner of Section 18, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida;
thence run N 89°39'14" W, 100.02 feet; thence
S 01°03'04" W, 420.63 feet; thence N 89°40'58" W,
600.05 feet to the P.O.B.; thence N 06°31'17" E,
373.07 feet to the South right-of--way of Drew
Street; thence N 89°39'14" W, along said South
night-of-way line of Drew Street, 15.09 feet;
thence S 06°31'17" W, 373.07 feet; thence S 89°
40'58".E, 15.09 feet to the P.O.B.,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the
City of Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of-its right,
title and interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations
entitled thereto by law.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record
this ordinance in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
