ORDINANCE NO. 4170-86
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CI'T'Y BY ZONING
PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF LANDMARK PALMS SUB-
DIVISION, EAST OF LANDMARK DRIVE AND APPROXIMATELY
150 FELT NORTH OF GEIGER COURT, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
AS SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "FOUR" DISTRICT
(RS-4) ; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on April 3, 1986, the City Cormmission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing
for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications
for certain property annexed into the City; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for
establishing zoning for such newly annexed real property were
approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element
thereof be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for
conformance with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
zoning change which is the subject of this ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby zoned as hereinafter indicated, and the zoning
atlas of.the City is amended accordingly:
Zoned RS--4 - Single-Family Residential "Four"-District
See Exhibit A attached hereto.
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that the
measures contained in this ordinance are consistent with the City's
Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant to the
LGCPA, and directs that a copy'of this ordinance be forwarded to
the LPA for their receipt and appropriate action.
