AN ORDINANCE OLD THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS Off? THE CITY BY REZONING
LOT 1, SUNSET OAKS,SUBDIVISION, LOCATED ON THE
WEST SIDE OF HERCULES AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 200
FEET NORTH OF SUNSET POINT ROAD, AS DESCRIBED
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, FROM MULTIPLE FAMILY
{ RESIDENTIAL "TWELVE" ZONING DISTRICT TO LIMITED
OFF'.LCE ZONING DISTRICT; 13ROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, 'on February 20, 1986, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing
on certain proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City; and
WHEREEAS, certain of the proposed changes to the zoning atlas
were approved by the City Coaunission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto relating to an adopted comprehensive plan or element
thereof.be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for
conformance with the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County, and the
zoning change which'is the subject of this Ordinance has been
referred to and considered by the PCPC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby rezoned as hereinafter indicated, and the
zoning-atlas of the City is amended accordingly:
Zoned: From: RM-12 - Multiple Family Residential
"Twelve" District
To: OL - Limited Office District
Lot 1, Sunset Oaks, according to the plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 89, page 1.of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida.

Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that the
measures contained in this ordinances are consistent with the
City's Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof adopted pursuant

to the LGCPA, and directs that a copy of this ordinance be
forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate action.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to revise the
zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing
amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon adoption.
