AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING A PORTION OF ROGERS S'T'REET (FORMERLY
KNOWN AS KIRKPA'T'RICK LANE),,LYING BETWFEN.LOTS
4 THROUGH 8, BAY HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AND LOT 11
AND A POR'T'ION OF LO'T' 10, WILLIAM BROWN'S SUB-
DIVISION OF BA's VIEW, PINELLAS COUN'T'Y, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by David G. Tibma, owner of
certain real property in Bay Heights Subdivision, in the City of
Clearwater, Florida, that the City vacate a certain portion of
right--of-,way; and
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commission finds that said portion of right-of-way is not
necessary nor required for municipal use and it is deemed to be to
the best interest and advantage of the City and the general public
that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following:
City of Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases-all of its
right, title and interest thereto to the persons, firms or
corporations entitled thereto by law.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record
this ordinance in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.

OF PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO REVISE AND
REPUBLISH THE ZONING ATLAS FROM TIME TO TIME;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission'of Clearwater has adopted a zoning
atlas for the City of Clearwater, and has subsequently adopted
amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, the earlier practice of the City Commission has been
e a ,
- to readopt the zoning atlas each year ina,order to incorporate amend-
ments to the zoning atlas adopted during the preceding year; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the practice of re- . .
r adopting the zoning atlas each year is unnecessary, and that the
Director of Planning and Urban Development should be given clear
authority to revise and'republish the zoning atlas from time to
time as necessary, to incorporate amendments to the zoning atlas
as adopted by the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
' COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Subsection F is added to Section 137.015, Code of
ordinances, as amended by the Land Development Code, to read: r
F. Format; Content; Revisions. The zoning atlas
-
shall consist of a ma of the
City of Clearwater,
which may be published in the form of an atlas or
book containing a title and summary page and
additional separate sheets each covering a ortion
of the City, de ictin all real ro ert within the
City-and designating-the various zoning districts and
the boundaries thereof. The ma shall not necessarily
be drawn to scale but shall depict sufficient details
so that the property owners may locate their ro erties
with respect to the zonin district boundary lines.
Upon the adoption of an ordinance amending the zoning
F atlas the zoning atlas shall be deemed amended as of :; s
the effective date of the ordinance. The Director of
Planning and Urban Develo ment'shall revise and may

republish fr-an time to time the zoning atlas or
portions thereof as amended but .a failure to revise

or republish the zoning atlas shall not affect the ?..
validity of an ordinance amending the zoning atlas.
The zonin atlas shall be known and ma be referred
to as'the "City of Clearwater Zonin Atlas " or words
of similar significances
and a reference to the zoning x

atlas may'also include a reference to the year in which
the zonin ,atlas was last republished but an incorrect
reference to the zoning atlas shall not affect the
validity of an ordinance amending the zonin atlas.
