ORDINANCE NO. 4131-86
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING A'T'LAS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1905, AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED EAST,OF BELCHER ROAD, WEST, OP GLENVILLE
DRIVE AND SOUTH OF SUNSET POINT ROAD, AS DESCRIBED
MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, FROM PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
ZONING DISTRICT TO OFFICE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1985, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing
on certain proposed chdnges to the zoning atlas of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to
the zoning ettlas were approved by the City.Commission after its
evaluation of all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to each required referral
process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered
by the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated,
and."The Zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 1985",
as amended, is amended to indicate that fact as hereinafter set
out:

That part of the NW 1/4 of,the SW 1/4 of Section 6,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,
Florida, lying between College Park Unit Ili as
recordedin Plat Book 69, page 87 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, }±lorida, and the
easterly right-of-way line of Belcher Road and
also the westerly 14.0 feet of Lot 6 of said
College Park Unit II, being further described
as follows:
Begin at the NW corner of the said Lot 6,
College Park Unit II for a P.O.B.; thence
N 89°51'29" E; 14.0 feet; thence S 00°38'34" W,
107.38 feet to the northerly right--of-way of
Albright Drive; thence N 89°21'26" W, 14.0 feet;
thence S 00°38'34" W, along the westerly right-
of-way line of Glenville Drive, 1,163.08 feet
to the 40 acre line; thence along the 40 acre
line, S 89°59'48" W, 361.40 feet to the easterly
right--of--way line of Belcher Road; thence
N 00°05'04" E, along said right-of--way line,
524.95 feet; thence along a curve to the right,
CB = N 17°27'18",E, C = 394.80 feet, It = 400.92
feet, R _ 661.20 feet;•thence N 34°49'32" E,
449,07 feet,to the P.O.B.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and.appropriate
action.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to include and
show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the
foregoing amendment:
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon adoption.
