AN ORDINANCE AMBNDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1985, AS AMENDED,
BY ZONING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF A PRIVA'TH DRIVE KNOWN AS COACHMAN
PLAZA DRIVE AND S.R. 590, PINELLAS COUNTY,
UPON ANNEXA'T'ION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER;
PROVIDING AN EFT EC'T'IVK DATE.

WHEREAS, on October 3, 1905, t11e City Commission of the' City
of'Clearwater, after proper public notice, held ,a public hearing
for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications
for certain property annexed into the.City of Clearwater in
accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for
establishing zoning for such newly annexed real property were
approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the said public nearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act.
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed,by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to LGCPA'; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by
the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated,
and "The Zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 1985",
as amended, is amended to indicate that fact as hereinafter set
out:

5, 't'ownship 29 South, Range 16 Last, Pinellas
County, Florida, being further described as follows:
Beginning at the SW corner of the SW 1/4•of said
Section 5, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, and run
thence S 89°40'09" E along the South boundary of
said Section 5 also being the centerline of State
Road 590 (Coachman Road) 387.51 feet; thence N 1"
08145" E 50.01 feet to the North right-of'-way of State
Road 590 (Coachman Road) to the P.O.B.; thence continue
N 1°08'45" E 172.09 feet along the centerline of
ingress-egress easement; thence S 88°14'55" E
176.56 feet; thence S 0°56'07" W 167.70 feet to the
North right-of-way of State Road 590 (Coachman
Road); thence N 89°40'09" W 177.30 feet along the
North right-of-way of State Road 590 (Cochman Road)
to the P.O.B.; together with abutting right-of-way.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action.. r'
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to include and
show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
