AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE
CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1985, AS AMENDED,
BY ZONING A PARCEL OF LAND CONSISTING OF 17.11
ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE
INTERSECTION OF N.E. COACHMAN ROAD AND THE
SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, UPON
ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 19, 1985, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing
for the determination and establishment of zoning classifications
for certain property annexed into the City of Clearwater in
accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the amendments to the zoning atlas for
establishing zoning for such newly annexed real property were
approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the said public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Art
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas'County Planning•Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance'has been referred to.and considered by
the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF•THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. 'The'following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated,
and "The Zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 198511,
as amended, is amended to indicate that fact as hereinafter set

Commence at the NE corner of Section 7, Township
29 South, Range 16,East, Pinellas County, Florida,
and go N 69°48'11" W, 1345.91 feet, along the North
boundary of Section 7, to the NW corner of the NE 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of said Section 7; thence S 00°50'32" W,
8874.72' feet, along the West boundary of said NE 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of Section 7, to a point on the South
right--of-way line of State Road No. 590A (N.E. Coachman
Road) for a P.O.H.; thence S 00050132" W, 1153.72 feet,
to a point on the North right-of-way line of the Seaboard
Coast Line Railroad; thence N 81°05'21" W, 822.62 feet,
along said North right-of-way line; thence along said
North right-of-way line along a curve to the right that
has a Radius of 2970.29 feet, an Arc length of :'397.56
feet, a Chord length of 397.26 feet, a Chord bearing of
N 77°15'17" W, to a point of intersection with the South

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action.
Section 3. The Planning Director is directed to include and
show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the
foregoing amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
