AMENDING 011DINi%NCE NO, 2019, RELATING TO THE LAND

USE ELEMEN'T' OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO CHANGE
THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CER'T'AIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER; PROVIDING FOR Tyr
REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMEN'T': AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Local. Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by
the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is
amended by placing the hereinafter described property in the land
use category as follows:

(L.U.P. 85-15) Lots 17 through
21 and that portion of Lot 22
more particularly described as
follows: Begin at the SE corner
of Lot 22 for a P.O.B.; thence
West 131.3 feet; thence easterly
to a point 30 feet South of the
NE corner of said Lot 22; thence
South 29.56 feet to the P.O.B.;
Sue Barco Subdivision, as recorded
in Plat Book 1, page 26 of the
public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida; AND the following described
parcel: Begin at -the SW corner of
Seminole Street and North Osceola
Ave. for a P.O.B.; thence southwesterly
along the West right-of-way of North
Osceola Ave., 138 feet; thence north-
westerly 301`.6 feet; thence northwesterly
147 feet; thence southeasterly 354 feet
to the P.O.B., all in Section 9, Township

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in thiE'ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance
has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation
in accordance with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall tke effect:,
immediately upon its passage.
