AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELATING TO THE LAND a
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO CHANGE ;
THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF CONFLIC'T'ING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PRO--':"

WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments ?
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with nz
plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been

designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the`' ?c

PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process; and'
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by r: ..

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY rt
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,'FLORIDA:{
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section 1 of Ordinance No.' 2019 is
amended by placing the hereinafter described property in the land
use category as follows:
Property
(L. U. P. 85711) Begin at the SW
corner of the SW 1/4; thence
North 655 feet; thence East 30
feet to the P.O.B.; thence North
344 feet; thence East 640.5 feet;
thence South f344 feet; thence West
640 feet to P.O.B., LESS the right-
of--way for Weston Drive.

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted-pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action. .

Section 3_ All ordinances or parts of crdinances in conflict

Section 4, Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance

Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
