AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWA'TER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2019, RELA'T'ING TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, TO CHANGE
THE LAND USE DESIGNA'T'10N FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPLRTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF CLEARWATER; PROVIDING I'OR
REPEAL OF CONFLIC'T'ING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PRO
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DA'L'E OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to such required referral
process; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance has been referred to and considered by
the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act, 1975, as amended, and pursuant to all
applicable provisions of law, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2019 is
amended by placing the hereinafter described property in the land
use category as follows:

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that trio
measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in conformance
with the City's Comprehensivo Plan and individual elements ;hereof
adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and dirt:cts that same be forwarded
to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate actrion.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby re0ealed.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance
has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation
in accordance with Section 166.041, Florida Statute-.s.
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
