AN ORDINANCE OIL' `T'AIL. CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
VACATING A CER'T'AIN EASEMENT LYING IN THE SW 1/4
OF THE NW 1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION,16, 'T'OWN-
SHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAS'T', PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NO'T'ICE OF PROPOSED
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Coral Cove, Ltd. and E. G.
Bradford &•Sons, Inc., owners of certain real property in Section
18, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, in the City of Clearwater,
Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacate a certain
easement; and
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary nor
required for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best
interest and advantage of the City and the general public that the
same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION,OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following:
The South 10 feet of the West 220 feet of the
existing drainage and utility easement as recorded
in O.R. Book 5255, page 1486, of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, lying within the SW 1/4
of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 18, Township
29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, ,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the
City of Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of its right,
title and interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations
entitled thereto by law.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record
this ordinance in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance
has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation
in accordance with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.
