AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1984, AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CER'T'AIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLIC'T'
HEREWITH TO THE EXTEN'T' OF,SUCH CONFLICT; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PRO-
POSED ENAC'T'MENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1984, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a Public hearing
on certain proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to,the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its
evaluation of all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act
(LGCPA) requires that all development regulations and amendments
thereto related to an adopted comprehensive plan or element thereof
be reviewed by the Local Planning Agency (LPA) for conformance with
plans adopted pursuant to the LGCPA; and
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Planning Council (PCPC) has been
designated the Local Planning Agency for Pinellas County and the
PCPC has adopted guidelines with reference to each required
referral process; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance has been referred to and considered
by the PCPC under said process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater,
Florida, is hereby classified and zoned ashereinafter indicated,
and "The zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida,of,1984",
as amended, is amended to indicate that fact as hereinafter set
out:

The SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 18,
't'ownship 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,
Florida; LESS the West 50 feet thereof for Belcher
Road right-of-way; ALSO LESS the North 225.02 feet
of the East 189,14 feet of the Wrist 239,14 feet thereof;
ALSO LESS the South 20 feet of the East 220 feet of
the West 270 feet thereof; more particularly described
as,follows:
Commence at the NW corner of Section 18, Township 29
South, Range 16-EAst, Pinellas County, Florida; thence
S 00°08'02" I, along the West boundary of the SW 1/,4
of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 18, (the
centerline of Belcher Road - County Roan No. 27, as
recorded in O.R. Book 2805, page 261 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida), 674.48 feet;
thence S 89"27105" E, along the North boundary of the
SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 18,
239.14 feet for a P.O.B.; thence S 89°27'05" E, continuing
along said North boundary, 406.13 feet, to the NE corner
of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 18;
thence S 00°08'58° W, along the East boundary of the
SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 18,
673.54 feet to the SE corner of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4

Section 2. The City of Clearwater does hereby certify that
the measures contained in this ordinance are consistent and in
conformance with the City's Comprehensive Plan and individual
elements thereof adopted pursuant to the LGCPA and directs that
same be forwarded to the LPA for their receipt and appropriate
action:
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4.. Should any part or provision of this ordinance
be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole,
or any.part thereof other than the part.declared to be invalid.

Section 7. The provisions of this.ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
