Dear Dr. Stephens:
In formal action by the City Commission of the City- of Clear-
water at its regularly scheduled meeting on January 15, 1976,
approval was granted to authorize St. Petersburg Junior
College to contract with Burroughs Corporation for the rental
of disk drives solely for the use of the City of Clearwater.
This approval was granted in consideration of the equipment
compatibility desired by St. Peter sburg Junior College.
This letter is to be considered as a formal request that this
issue be placed on the agenda of the Electronic Data Process-
ing Control Committee for its affirmative recommendation,
and considered at the earliest meeting of the District Board of
Trustees, as required by paragraph ii, B, 1 of the agreement
between the City of Clearwa ter and the District Board of
Trustees. Installation of this equipment will be required by
March 20, 1976 to meet the City's implementation schedule.
