Page 1 Present: Ed Hooper, Member Fred Ratley, Member Deborah Ford, Human Resources Department Van Horton, IAFF President The meeting was called to order at 9:50 a.m. .. . Ed Hooper moved to approve the minutes of June 8, 1995. The motion was' duly seconded by Fred Ratley and carried unanimously'. Due to the holiday a~d vacation schedules, Ed Hooper moved to cancel the July 5th meeting. The motion was duly seconded by Fred Ratley and carried unanimously. Van Horton, IAFF President, raised a question concerning the status of for pension as to whether or not they are allowed to continue working. the last. meeting in discussion of. Stephen Revello's pension request. Mr. Horton that he has recommended a change in th.e language of the allow employees to continue' working if, the delay in approval of the employee's fault. This matter' has been continued' until a latcr' date. employees' who apply This situation arose at Mr. Hooper advised light duty policy to pension is not the /'" (~; Mr. Horton also asked wh~ther the current Committee members will remain on the Committee when the Pension Plan is changed and the Committee membership is increased to seven members. Mr. Hooper suggested this mutter be added to the agenda for the July' 19th meeting for discussion purposes. A new Chairman will need to be selected at the next meeting. The meeting recessed from 10:01 to 10:03 a. m.
