CONCLUSIONS OF LAW The Respondent by reason of the foregoing was in violation of above referenced sections of the Code of the City of Clearwater, Florida, as referred to in the affidavits and read into the record in these cases. , ORDER It is the Order 6f the Board that the Respondent Is to continue compliance with said sections of the Code of the City of Clearwater. If Respondent repeats the violation, the Board may order the Respondent to pay a fine of $50/day/violation for 'each day the violation exists after the Respondent is notified of the repeat violation. Should ,the violation reoccur, the Board has .the authority to impose the fine at that time without a subsequent hearing. Other Board Action/Discussion '30) ,Discuss fine reaardina 1173 NE Cleveland Street John Bangos, representative, said when the owners purchased the property at 1177 NE Cleveland Street 3 years ago, liens totaled approximately $2,300. He stated the former City Manager and two former Planning and Development Services Administrators had indicated the City would waive the liens. The owners purchased the building addressed as 1173 and 1175 NE Cleveland Street one-year ago. Alise McGuire, a property owner, stated the property was in poor condition when it was purchased and security had to be hired. Ms. Diana stated the prope'rty has six liens. totaling $2,385. City out-of- pocket costs for contracting lawn-mowing services total $1,765. Lawn mowing also can include debris removal. The City Commission originally approved the liens by resolution. Ms. Dougal1.Sides said the board's recommendation would be forwarded to the Commission for a final decision. Mr. Kronschnabl said the properties, previously scheduled for demolition, have been renovated and now are viable economic resources.
