Dear Property Owners:
In accordance with section 47.182 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, I have
reviewed your request for a temporary sidewalk installation waiver.
Since existing oak trees and extreme elevation variances make the installation of a sidewalk
physically impossible, this location meets the requirements set forth in section 47.182.
Therefore, a temporary waiver of the sidewalk requirement is granted on the above referenced
property. If the oak trees are destroyed by disease or disaster and it is determined that a
sidewalk can then be installed at thi,s location in the future, it will be installed by the assessment
process.

SUBJECT: Sidewalk Waiver Request - 1938 Sever Drive
DATE: June 10, 1993
The subject property is located on the north side of Sever Drive approximately 700 feet west of
Hercules Avenue. We have reviewed the request for a sidewalk waiver and found there is
existing sidewalk from this property eastward to Hercules Avenue. However, the sidewalk
cannot be physically installed because of conflicts with oak trees and extreme elevation
variances.
Since the requirements for a waiver are met, it is my recommendation that it be granted.
