Members Present: William Schwob Lee Regulski Elaine Cornlllaud Helen Theofilis Frank Donnell Jeff Butler Mary Lou Dobbs Char les LeCher Nancy Pappas Jerry Lancaster . Members Absent: 8 Howard Groth Chairman Schwob opened the meeting with a discussion regarding the letter received from several city employees regarding the civil service system and its relationship to the charter. Through discussions with the city manager and the city personnel officer, he was advised that the December 1978 referendum covered both the c.ity charter and the civil service system. Section 3.04 is the only place where the civil service system Is referred to in the charter. He was advised by the city manager that the city personnel officer would check into the matter. A "Summary of Voting 8/28/84" is attached as an Addendum to these minutes. The next meeting will be September 4 at 7:00 P.M.
