The meeting was called to order at 2:37 p.m. by the Chairman in Aleta
Cozart's office in City Hall. As there were no requests for Public
Hearing, Lot Clearing List 16b-1 (attached for the record) was considered
as a whole.
Marianne Lamas, Sanitation Inspector stated Items a, c and g on Lot
Clearing List 186-1 were cleared late. Items b, d, e, f, h, i & j on List
.~6-1 are still in violation and a copy of the notice posted and photos
of the property were submitted as evidence.

Based on the evidence presented with regard to the properties on Lot
Clearing List 186-1 Items b, d, a, t, h, i and j, Shirley Corum moved the
Board Finds: There does exist excessive weed and/or plant growth, debris
and trash, that the properties are in violation of Chapter 95, Lot Clearing
Title VIII re: Public Health and Safety of the City of Clearwater and
recommends the owners be billed by the City Clerk for the cost of clearing
and the administrative charge. The motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimOUSly.
Grace Loyd moved Items a, c and g on Lot Clearing List d86-1 were
,cleared after the 15 days and recommends the owners be billed by the City
Clerk for the administratvie Charge. The motion was duly seconded and
carried unanimously.
Unfinished business
The Secretary has made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact
V. Jack Kennedy by telephone regarding Item f on Lot Clearing List IBS-b.
The Chairman requested a letter be sent to Mr. Kennedy. Al Smith moved to
continue Item f on Lot Clearing List ~85-b until the next Board meeting.
The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.

Shirley Corum stated Item a on Lot Clearing List 185-17, 521
Clearwater Pass had changed ownership in March, 1985. It was posted in
September, 1985 under the previous owners name. The Chairman will check
with the City Attorney regarding the sufficiency of posting the properties.
Graoe Loyd moved to continue Item a on Lot Clearing List 185-17 until an
opinion is received from the City Attorney. The motion was duly seconded
and oarried unanimously.

The'Sanitation Inspector stated Mr. Hall, owner of the property at
the rear portion of 101 Osceola Ave., Lot Clearing List '85-21 Item b had
been unable to reaoh Mr. Brandenbruger, Sanitation Inspector regarding
clearing his property. Mr. Hall requests the $15.00 administrative charge
be forgiven. It was stated by the Chairman the telephones at the
Sanitation Division are manned all day, Mr. Hall should have been able
to reach an inspector or leave a message. Graoe Loyd moved to charge the
administrative fee on the property on Lot Clearing List #85-21 Item b.'
The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
There was no new business.
Minutes
Al Smith moved to approve the minutes of the December 10, 19B5
meeting. The motion was duly seconded and carried unamlmausly.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:57 p.m.
