" \\ to- .' _ ....... /. ..., ' . ,t .;;.~ '\ ;, I., ~, , , LOT CLEARING BOARD January 8, 1985 Members present: Bob Brumback, Chairman Cyndie Goudeau, Vice-Chairman Aleta Cozart Al Smith Grace Loyd Also present: Al Brandenburger, Sanitation Inspector ,'Marianne Lamos, Sanitation Inspector Vioki Niemiller, Secretary for the Board The meeting was called to order at 2:45 p.m. by the Chairman in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. ::J . Publio Hearings A continuation of the Hearing on December 11, 1984 on the James Spychalski property at 1565 So. Prospeot Ave., Belmont Sub 2nd Addn., Blk. G, Lots 40 & 41 was held. Al Brandenburger, Sanitation Inspector stated the grass had been cut to 10"' but there are dead tree limbs and debris in the yard and the property is still in violation of Chapter 95. Mr. Albert, 1561 Prospeot Ave. stated there were large rodents and snakes breeding on the property causing a hazard to the neighbors. Mr. James Spyohalski stated he had cut the grass with hedge shears and cleared debris, but there are still some tree limbs in the back yard. He stated due to the holidays he had not completed clearing the property. Pictures of the property were examined and discussion ensued oonoerning what needed to be done to bring the property into compliance. Grace Loyd made the motion that the Board finds: There does exist debris and trash and the property is in violation of Chapter 95. The owner is given until Monday, January 14, 1985 to clear the property. It will be reinspected and if not completely in oompliance the Board authorizes immediate clearing of the property and billing the owner by the City Clerk. Al Brandenburger, Sanitation Inspector stated Item e on the list has been cleared after the 15 day period and is subject to the $75.00 administrative fee. Lots b, c and d are in violation of Chapter 95 and copies .of the notices posted and photos of each property were submitted as evidence. Cyndie Goudeau moved to assess the $75.00 administrative fee for the property identified as Item e on Lot Clearing List D85-1. Motion was duly seoonded and oarried unanimously. Based on the evidence presented with regard to the properties on Lot Clearing List 185-1, Items b, 0 and d, Grace Loyd moved that the Board finds: There does exist excessive weed and/or plant growth, debris and trash, that the properties are in violation of Chapter 95, Lot Clearing of Title VIII He: Public Health and Safety of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater and reoommends the owners be billed by the City Clerk for the cost of clearing and the administrative charge. Motion was duly seoonded and carried unanimously. Minutes Al Smith moved to approve the minutes of the December 11, 1984 meeting. Motion was duly seconded and carried uninimously.
