The meeting was called to order at 2:35 p.m. by the Chairman in the
Commission Meeting Room in City Hall.
Public Hearings

Mr. Henry L. Moore requested a hearing on his property at Pinecrest
Sub., E. 91' of Lots 1 & 2. Mr. Moore stated storage of tiles was
grandfathered 1n when the property wa$ rezoned from commercial.
A roofing and construction business had been there since 1940.
Al Brandenburger, sanitation inspector stated the manner in whioh
the tiles are stored causes it to be a breeding place for mosquitos and
a haven for rodents and therefore creates, a health hazard.
Discussion ensued regarding how Mr. Moore could store the tiles in
an ,acceptable manner without removing them from the property.

, C. Goudeau moved regarding violation of Chapter 95 on Pinecrest Sub,
E. 91' of Lots 1 & 2. The City Lot Clearing Board has heard testimony
at the Lot Clearing Board meeting held the 13th day of November, 1984,
and based on the evidence, the City Lot Clearing Board enters the following
FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW, AND ORDER~
~ FINDING OF FACT: According to testimony by lot clearing inspectors
'the property presents a health hazard.
CONCLUSION OF LAW: Property is in violation of Chapter 95.
'ORDER: It is the order of this Board that the property located at
the S.W. corner of Pennsylvania & Nicholson be cleared in accordance with
CHAPTER 95, LOT CLEARING, OF TITLE VIII, PUBLIC'HEALTH AND SAFETY, OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER and that the owner be given
an additional 15 days to olear the property or be billed by the City Clerk
for the cost of Clearing and the administrative charge. Motion duly
seopnded and carried unanimOUSly.

administrative fee. All lots remaining to be cleared are in violation
of Chapter 95 and copies of the notices posted and photos of each property
were submitted as evidence.
Cyndie Goudeau moved to assess the $15.00 administrative fee for
properties identified as Items ct, f, g, and i on Lot Clearing List 084-3.
Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
Based on the evidence presented with regard to the properties on Lot
Clearing List #84-3 ~tems a, b, c, e, hand j, Grace Loyd moved that the
board finds: There does exist excessive weed and/or plant growth. debris
,and'trash, that the properties are in violation of Chapter 95, Lot Clearing
of Title VIII ne: Public Health and Safety of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Clearwater and recommends the owners be billed by the City
Clerk for the cost of clearing and the administrative ,charge. Motion duly
seconded and carried unanimously.
Minutes
Grace Loyd moved to approve the minutes of the October 23, 198~
meeting. Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
There was no unfinished business or new business.
