The meeting opened at 2:45 P.M. with the following present:
Reverend P. W, McBride, Chairman Ministerial Association
Joe R. Wolfe Jr. Chamber of Commerce
Guy L. Kennedy Representing City Attorney
R, G. Whitehead City Clerk
Absent:
Irving W. Dribben, Secretary Chamber of Commerce
Frank Daniels Police Chief

The Chairman called the meeting to order. Mr. Wolfe moved that i
the minutes of the meeting of March 10, 1970 be approved in
accordance with copies submitted to each Board member in writing,
Motion was seconded by Mr. Kennedy and carried unanimously.
It was reported that Mr. Dribben was no longer connected with
the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Wolfe nominated Mr. Kennedy as
temporary secretary, which all members present agreed to by
consent.
-The application of the National Hemophilia Foundation which
had been approved verbally was presented for confirmation.
Mr. Kennedy moved to confirm the approval of the application.
Mr. Wolfe seconded the motion which carried unanimously. #
The application of the Gulf Coast Chapter National Multiple
Sclerosis Society which had been approved verbally was presented
for confirmation, Mr. Wolfe moved to confirm the approval of
the application. Mr. Kennedy seconded the motion which
carried unanimously.
The application of the College Fund of Pinellas County, Inc.
which had been approved verbally was presented for confirmation.
Mr. Kennedy moved to confirm the approval of the application.
Mr. Wolfe seconded the motion which carried unanimously,
The application of the Salvation Army which had been approved
verbally was presented for confirmation. Mr, Wolfe moved to
confirm the approval of the application. Mr. Kennedy seconded
the motion which carried unanimously.
The application of the Science Center of Pinellas County, Inc.
which had been approved verbally was presented for confirmation.
Mr. Kennedy moved to confirm the approval of the application.
Mr. Wolfe seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
