Whiteheaa Absent: Willis Booth, Secretary Joseph G. Donahey, Jr. Ministerial Association Chamber of Commerce Representing City Attorney Ci ty Clerk' Police Chief Jr. Chamber of Commerce The Chairman called the meeting to order. Mr. Dribben moved ~hat the minutes of the meeting of February 3rd, 1967 be approved in accordance with copies submitted to each Board member in writing. Motion was seconded by Mr. Kennedy and carried unanimously. . l""'- .'owI . ,The ,application of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society was presented for consideration. A Mr. Griffith, Regional Director, and Mrs. Eloise Cozens, Executive Secretary, were present. Mr. Griffith admitted the 1965 expenses were high, but as they did not conduct a campaign in Clearwater in 1966 ,they had to submit the financial state- ~ent for 1965. He estimated the 1967 costs in the neighbor- hood of $600.00 as they planned to have only two paid tel- ephone operators to solicit marchers. Upon Mr. Griffith's x1equest the Board agreed to return the application and financial statement to him. By consent the Board deferred action on the application until a more satisfactory finan- cial statement was received in addition to the return of the or~ginal application or the filing of a new one.
