Harris Ministerial Association The Chairman called the minutes of November 22, objections, he declared to each Board member in meeting to order and 1963, for approval. the minutes approved writing. presented the Hearing no as submitted .... , ' .... ,Ml~ ""wi The application of Alsac - St. Jude Research Hospital was presented for consideration. Mr. Richard Deeb was present representing Alsac. The Chairman referred to the minutes of, April 25, 1963 and March 26, 1963, regarding the applica- tions of Alsac and the Leukemia Society at which time the Board recommended the two boards attempt to combine their solicitation effot"ts. Mr. Deeb answered various questions from the Board members and stated that he did not believe the two types of solicitation could be combined and that the one attempt to do so did not meet with success. Chief Booth moved that the application of Alsac - St4 Jude Research Hospital be approved. Mr. Kennedy seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The application of the Leukemia Society, Inc., pine lIas Chapter was considered next. Mr. Kennedy moved that the application of the Leukemia Society, Inc., Pinellas Chapter be approved. Mr. Dribben seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The next item to be considered was the application of the American Legion Auxiliary, Turner Brandon - Unit #7, to hold their annual poppy sale. Mr. Dribben moved that the application of the American Legion Auxiliary be approved. Chief Booth seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The next application to be considered by the Board was that of the Upper Pinellas Chapter of the National Foundation. Chief Booth moved that the application of the Upper pine lIas Chapter of the National Foundation be approved. Mr. Kennedy seconded the motion which carried unanimously. '.1', ~ ::' : ,:l..
