'. e, + ~ ., CHARITY SOLICITATIONS BOARD March 29, 1962 ~ The meeting opened at 2:00 P.N. with the folloHine present: Mrs. E. J. Daniel Joseph L. CogBan Rev. C. M. Harris Guy L. Kennedy, Jr. R. G. \o.1hi tehead Chamber of Commerce Jr. Chamber of Commerce Ministerial Association Asst. City Attorney City Clerk Mrs. Daniel, Chairman, called the meeting to order and presented the minutes of the meeting of March 1, 1962. 111". Coggan moved that the Minutes of the meeting of March 1, 1962 be approved in accordance with copies submitted to each board member in writing. Motion was seconded by Rev. Harris and carried unanimously. The application of the Clearwater Little League, which had pre- viously been approved verbally, was presented for confirmation. Mr. Kennedy moved to confirm the approval of the application of the Clearwater Little League. Rev. Harris seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The application of the Pinellas County Society for Crippled Children and Adults Inc. was presented for consideration. Rev. Harris moved that the application of the Pinellas County Society for Crippled Children and Adults In'c. be approved. Hr. Coggan seconded the motion which carried unanimously. I:) The application of the Mary Custis Lee Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy was presented for consideration. It was noted that the application had not been fully completed. Mr. Coggan moved to approve the application of the l1ary Custis. Lee Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy, subject to proper completion of the application. Mr. Kennedy seconded the motion which carried unan- imously. As Chief Booth was not present, it was decided, by consent, to defer the report of the solicitation of funds for leukemia.
