October, 15, 1959 " {~ " 'JJ The meeting opened at 2:00 P.M. with the following present: \qalter T1tzel, Chairman Chamber of Commerce Mrs. E.. J. Daniel, Seey. Merchants Association Don Williams Jr. Chamber of Commerce Willis Booth Police Chief R. G. Whitehead City Clerk ~~. W. .Titzel called the meeting to order and presented for consideration the application from Free Guide Dogs for the Blind. Mr. Frank Bambino, president, and Mrs. ,Leah E. Wood, secretary-treasurer, were present and explained, the operation or the organization. They also stated they hoped to have 25 dogs per year available primarily 1;0 blind people living in Florida. ,. Mr. D. S. Williams moved that the application be approve'd. Chief W. Booth seconded the motion which carried unanimou sly. Mr. D. S. Williams moved that the minutes of the meeting of September 17th, 19,9, be approved in accordanc.e with copies submi tted to each Board member in writing.
