Daniel, Secy.- Merchants Association Don Williams Jr. Chamber of Commerce Col.. J. H. Watkins Better Business Bureau 1-111.is Booth Police Chief R. G. Whitehead City Clerk Colonel t-Taticins as Chairman pro tem called the meeting to order. Chief Booth moved that the minutes of the meeting of March 19, 1959, be approved in accordance with copies submitted to each Board member in writing. Motion was seconded by Mr. Williams and carried unanimously. The application of the V.F.W. Old Fort Harrison Post #2473 for a poppy sale was considered. Mr. Williams moved that the application be approved. Chief Booth seconded the motion i,rhich carried. Consideration was given to the application,of Voiture 4541, 40: S, for a street solicitation. Mr. Williams moved that the application be approved. Chief Booth seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The Clearwater Chapter of American War Mothers' application for a carnation sale was considered. Urs. Daniels moved that the applica- tion be approved. Mr. Williams seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The application of the Florida Nurses Association X33 for solicita- tion which had been verbally approved was considered for confirmation. Mrs. Daniels moved that the Board confirm the verbal approval. Chief-Booth seconded the motion which was carried. 'There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:55 P.M.
