The meeting opened at 1:30 P.M. with the fo11ovnng present:

The Chairman called the meeting' to order. Chief Booth moved the
minutes of the meeting of September 26J 1958J be approved in
accordance with caples submitted to each Board member in vwiting.
f\lotion was seconded by Dr. Cooke and carried unanimously.
The application of the Disabled American VeteransJ Chapter llJ for
a flower sale l~as considered and Dr. Cooke moved' that the applica-
tion be approved. Colonel Watkins seconded the motion which carried
unanimously.
Colonel Watkins moved that the application of the Shrine Club of
Clearwater to conduct a circus on October 24th be approved. Dr.
Cooke seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
An app~1cation from the Junior Ballet Guild of Clearwater was
presented for them to conduct a card party and entertain civic
clubs. Colonel 1'latkins moved the application be approved. I,lotion
was seconded by Dr. Cooke and carried unanimously.
The last application to be presented was that of Pinellas Oounty
TUberculosis and Health Association for the sale of Christmas
seals. Colonel l'Iatkins moved that the application be approved.
Motion was seconded by Dr. Cooke and carried unanimously.
There being no further businessJ the meeting adjourned at 2:30 P.M.
