'. ~~'" '1;~ 1" . ~ ,,' . ,~ .-, , , " CLEARWATER POLICE SUPPLEMENTARY PENSION FUND Minutes of meeting held March 21, 1963 at 9;30 AM-Police Headquarters A meeting of Officers participating in the Clearwa~er P~lice Supplementary Pension Fund was held at Police Headquarters on March 21" 1963. ,Meeting was brought to order by Assistant Chief W.B.Mackey who infor.med the group that the purpose of said meeting was the nomination ,and election'of two members to fill existing vacancies of Captain , Frank Daniels and Det .Sgt. E.I.ester Marstonl whose terms have expired. Assistant Chief Mackey turned the meeting over to Chief W.D.Booth, ,who explained the workings of the Supplementary Pension Fund from ..its inception. Chief Booth infa: med the group that the Annual Pension Report had been forwarded to Tallahassee on March 15,1963 ,to the state Treasurer. Assistant Chief conducted the election, with the following members 'being nominated: Patro~an Hayden nominated sgt. Paul Meissner Capt.Lecouris nominated captain McClamma ~G'Tp.a.t!!lr81IM..Pl Murrell nominated Sgt. Marston Patro~an Reese nominated Det. James Shaffer. The Assistant Chief moved that nominataons close. seconded the motion. Capt.LeCouris Voting was held by secret ballot. Officers Kent and Vellucci, along with the Assistant Chief counted the ballots, with the following two members receiving the majority vote: captain William Mcclan~a Det.Sgt. E.Lester Marston The above two names will be submitted to the City Commission in accordance with Chapter 185 of the Florida statutes for appointment to the Board of Trustees, Clearwater Police Supplementary Fension Fund.
