Meeting called to order at 7:40 P.M. 2. Minutes approved as published. 3. It was noted that a letter or contact needs to be made with Rev. Campbell asking about his intentions as to membership. .......... "' ............' 4. Projects Ear 1988-89 were discussed. There was lively discussion regarding the various projects. The Committee members felt that the projects were generally very worthwhile and that many projects should be supported, including even evetually a swimming pool Ear E~st Clearwater. 5. The members developed their rankings of the projects. 6. It was moved and passed that a quorum of the Committee be five members. 7. Discussion on how much before the meeting, the meeting notices should be sent, was tabled for next meeting. '. 8. Increasing cheft and other crime in South Clearwater was discussed. There have been a number of specific instances of crime lately. There was Some concern expressed about the large number of police assigned to Clea~water Beach and the possible partial abandonment of protection for residential areas in other parts of the city. 9. , Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
