Fred Korosy, Chairman Mrs. Theresa Goss Mrs. Elizabeth Hasbrouck Mrs. Karen Martin Mrs. Johnie Mae Moore Mrs. Audrey Patouillet 11r. Larry Reis Mr. Elliott Hardaway, Ex-officio, Library Director and Secretary Mrs. Ruth Johnson Mrs. Jessica Kerr Mrs. Reina ,Pollack 1. Ms. Karen Martin asked about the possibility of a book- drop somewhere in East Clearwater for the convenience of library patrons living in that area. Mr. Hardaway stated that it was certainly possible but would be expensive and time-consuming to service the book-drop several times or even once a day - which would be the minimum. Mrs. GOBS pointed out that the need for a book-drop was equally urgent in the south section of the city. Mr. Hardaway stated that the cost-effectiveness probably would not justify such an expenditure. 2. Mr. Picot Floyd, City Manager, met with the Board and discussed the broad subject of the best way to provide library service to Clearwater. Topics touched upon were the renovation of the Hain Library, a new main library at a different location and the incorporation of the main library in a multi-purpose facility on the present library site. This was an informative and fruitful discussion and provided a common background to City Manager and Board members for consideration of present and future library matters. 3. Mr. Korosy polled the Board on its attitude toward library consolidation on a county-wide basis. There was unanimous approval for county-wide library service. Elliott Hardaway, Secretary
