1. The Chairman discussed the implications for Board members of
Floridats "Government in the Sunshine" Law and indicated his
intention to seek a ruling on the matter from the City Attorney.
2. Mr. Korosy reported that he plans to write Mrs. C. E. Wickman
and propose an endowment fund for the support of the Wickman
COllection in place of the annual request and donation pro-
cedure now existing.
3. Ms. Patouillet reported that the Friends of the Library were
active and have developed some long range activity plans.
Their Board of Directors will be meeting soon and the next
membership meeting will be March 20, 1973.
4.' Mr. Stierheim came in unexpectedly and reported that a contract
has been signed with Mr. Forrest Watson for the renovation of
the Library, that the closing on the site for the East Library
has taken place and that action is being started to purchase the
Phillips property behind the Library on Osceola -- all welcome
news.
