CLEARWATER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
FEBRUARY 16, 1973
1:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.
City Hall - North Conference Room
PRESENT
ABSENT
Mr. Fred Koroay, Chairman
Mrs. Theresa Goss
Mrs. Ruth Johnson
Mrs. Johnie Mae Moore
Mr. Elliott Hardaway,
Librarian and Secretary
Mrs. Elizabeth Hasbrouck
Mrs. Jessica Kerr
Dr. Donald MacDonald
Mrs. Audrey Patouillet
Mrs. Reina Pollack
Mr. Larry Reis
1. A quorum not being present, no business was transacted.
2. Mr. Korosy reported that Mr. McElmurry has indicated to the
City that he is no longer interested in being considered as the
architect for the Osceola Library renovation. It is expected
that another architect will, however, be named for this renova-
tion very shortly.
3. The Chairman reported that he has been appointed to the City's
Historical Committee. It is hoped that this group and the
Library B~ard can work together closely to develope a center
for Clearwater archival and historical material. The need for
a history of the City of Clearwater was discussed.
4. There was discussion as to the frequency and agenda of Library
Board meetings. The suggestion was made that at each meeting
the Librarian give a report on one department or activity of
the Library to keep Board members aW~re of p~oblems, any progress
being made and plans for solving the problems. An effo~t will be
made to provide a meeting place for the Board at the Library so
that in addition to the Librarian's reports, inspection tours can
be made frequently.
Elliott Hardaway, Secretary
